Our tomatoes are ready to be picked and turned into salsa, chili sauce, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and tomato juice so Ella came out to help me pick tomatoes. It was about 50% green tomatoes she picked and 50% red. When I went inside to bring the buckets I came back out to find her sitting on the ground with her hand in the cage. She was enthralled with reaching in the cage, finding a tomato, squeezing it and bringing the goo out onto her lap. She loves being in the garden getting dirty, eating green tomatoes and green peppers. We love our garden!
